Erika (Gifford) Teoh is dynamic academic with strong writing skills and teaching experience looking to contribute her expertise to community driven organizations in the Lexington and Wilmore Kentucky area.

Erika graduated from the University of Findlay in May 2024 with a MA in Rhetoric and Writing. Previously, Erika graduated from Cleveland State University in 2022 with her BA in English and Philosophy. Currently, she is a part-time Adjunct English Instructor in the first-year writing program at Asbury where she teaches English 100 and sometimes 110.

Erika’s research interests include: composition pedagogy, feminist theory, food pedagogy, multimodal composition, first year composition.
